Kaeghøk

Kaeghøk are a sentient species of corvid from the mountains in the southwest of the Kellsith. There are two other, nonsentient species of genus Corax.

Distribution

Physical Characteristics

Kaeghøk feathers are generally black with slight purple and green iridescence. Approximately 20% of individuals have white markings, usually on the wing tips, face, or chest.

Kaeghøk are the largest species in their order (Passeriformes). Measurements are typically in the following ranges: weight, 3.6 to 4.7 kg; length, 90 to 105 cm; wingspan, 170 to 190 cm. Males: weight, 4 to 5.2 kg; length, 95 to 110 cm; wingspan, 180 to 200 cm.

Life Cycle

As flighted birds, Kaeghøk mature extremely rapidly for a species of their longevity.
